Dear editor, Can someone please tell me why we have a party in the public debate whose sole purpose is to further the interests of Quebec and who is not represented nationally? Why is this allowed to continue?

Dear editor, It seems to me that anyone who has not been paying attention to the actions of the Conservative government or of the opposition parties in the past five years, really shouldn't be voting in the upcoming federal election.

Bike lockup at City Hall would really help environment

Dear editor, I have heard of proposed plans for renovating Courtenay City Hall. I would like to propose an addition to this work. The City of Courtenay is very commendably working towards lowering our carbon footprint (20 per cent by 2020). These targets, of much less carbon used per person, can be helped a lot by lowering our car trips by increasing our trips by bike.
