St. George’s United Church is pleased to announce another group for its Sunday Sessions, a new initiative to showcase and support the local musical community, while also supporting one of the church’s charitable partners.

Musical Mosaics welcomes mother and son duo, Lynn and Jordie Robinson - pianist and cellist - playing pieces from Bach and Chopin, and songs such as Ave Maria, The Swan, Memoirs of a Geisha and more.

The house was full, not only with poetry supporters and enthusiasts, but flowing with wise, sharp and insightful words.

It’s back, and it’s bigger than ever. The third annual Denman Island Baroque Festival takes place May 4-12, with several exciting events scheduled.

Island Voices is excited to be returning to Shelter Point Distillery for Folk on the Rocks, their final concerts of the season.

Executive producer Doug Cox has landed Canadian Music Hall of Famer Tom Cochrane, with Red Rider, as a headliner for this summer’s Vancouver Island MusicFest.

Saturday, May 4, sees the final concert in the ‘Live At Fanny Bay Hall’ season. The string quartet, Cuarteto Chroma, from Mexico, brings its exciting program to the Hall starting at 7 p.m.
