On Sunday, April 20, St. George’s United Church is hosting a huge Easter Egg hunt.
Volunteers are hiding more than 700 eggs throughout the building and volunteers will be on hand to guide the process. Each child will find treat-filled eggs and will leave with a goodie bag. Coffee will be available at 9:30 a.m. for adults, and the hunt starts at 9:45 a.m..
There is no charge for this event. For those who are interested in staying for church, the Easter Service begins at 10:30 a.m..
Last year, more than 50 kids scurried and searched and all loved the prizes.
St. George’s United Church is located in the heart of downtown Courtenay at 505 6th Street.
