Comox Valley volunteers are ready to help make a difference for families with needs.

Santa’s Workshop has a new location this year, Unit 5, 2946 Kilpatrick Ave, Courtenay, behind the Salvation Army Thrift store and next to Industrial Plastics.

Starting Nov. 4, donations of money, bicycles, gently used toys, games and puzzles can be dropped off between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.. Volunteers ask that any stuffies being donated be new only. In December, the hours change to 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..

Parents and Grandparents should phone in and register to shop for children aged newborns to 15 years beginning Dec. 2 until Dece. 20.. Special shopping days for Grandparents are on Dec. 13 and Dec. 16. Appointments can be made by calling 250-871-7273 during open hours.

Drop-boxes for toy donations will be available throughout the Valley. Please check our website, Facebook and Instagram for locations. Santa’s Workshop also has an account at Courtenay Return it Depot (Acc #736) and will be happy to receive refundable bottles and cans.
