The Town of Comox in conjunction with the City of Courtenay will host the 29 Annual Operation High Jump at Vanier Track in Courtenay on Sept. 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
The event showcases the talents and sportsmanship of adults with disabilities in the community.
Some participants come from as far away as Powell River to take part in this fun track meet.
"We're excited to host this fun track meet for athletes with disabilities in the Comox Valley," said Justin Wolfe, Recreation Programmer. "In partnership with the City of Courtenay and the Kiwanis Club, this event offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to engage in friendly competition and build connections within the community.”
Volunteers from the Courtenay Kiwanis Club will help the day run smoothly.
