Comox Valley recreation inviting residents out for a chat

The Comox Valley Regional District's recreation team wants to chat.

This spring, staff from the recreation side of the regional district will be at the Comox Valley Sports Centre on Monday, March 3 and Wednesday, April 2, to talk about capital project plans, current programming, and infrastructure upgrades that are underway at sports and aquatic centres.

“We are excited to invite residents to come down and talk with our recreation staff about the current projects underway and receive feedback on what is important to them,” said Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services. “We know that recreation is the heart of this community.”

Attendees can provide suggestions and feedback, and will be entred to win one of two 10 punch passes for Comox Valley sports and recreation centres. Those who can't attend can visit engagecomoxvalley.ca/reccustomerservice to review materials, provide feedback or ask questions online.

The events will be held on Monday, March 3 from 9 -11 a.m. at the Comox Valley Sports Centre and Wednesday, April 2 from 5-7 pm at the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre.
