According to B.C. Ministry of Health, approximately 800,000 B.C. Foodsafe Level 1 certificates will be expired by August 28th, 2018. The BC Health Authority new regulations state that any Foodsafe Certificates obtained before 2013 are no longer valid. Research shows that 95% of people who took their Foodsafe Level 1 in the past 5 years or earlier, would not pass the exam if they wrote it today.
