Dear editor,
I have been following with great interest Donald Trump's attempt to turn our American friends into foes.
I can fully understand why he would like the U.S.A. to join the best country in the world and become Canada's fourth territory.
But first, a lot of things would have to change. Their current private for profit health-care system and their political system that makes no sense would need to be changed. Their justice system, where the poor and innocent end up in jail more often than the rich and guilty is a crying shame.
And like Canada and all the advanced democratic countries in the world, hate speech would be against the law, making unprincipled people Like Donald Trump, unelectable in Canada.
