Do your children love Alice in Wonderland, or are you the fan?

This family friendly Mad Hatter鈥檚 Garden Party based on the Alice in Wonderland books and movies will have games, a photo booth and a 鈥淢ad Hatter鈥檚 Tea Party鈥� all in the beautiful setting of The Gardens on Anderton.

We have focused the event around children five to 12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) but all ages are welcome.

Costumes or 鈥淢ad Hats鈥� are encouraged. There will be prizes awarded for the best costume and Mad Hat to both children and adults.

The party takes place Sunday, Aug. 13 from 1:30 鈥� 4 p.m. at the Gardens on Anderton at 2012 Anderton Rd., behind the nursery. Tickets are available at Whales Tales, Blue Heron Books, Cloves Deli and The Gardens on Anderton until Aug. 10 and must be purchased in advance. Children $5, adults $10.

If you have never been to the Gardens on Anderton, or even if you have been several times, this event is a great reason to visit for the first or 40th time. The Gardens are a public use, non-profit, volunteer-run facility, open daily from 10-4 May to September.
