RBC Dominion Securities collects money and food for Comox Valley Food Bank

On Thursday, Oct. 26, RBC Dominion Securities did their very first Fill the Truck Food Drive.

鈥淲e had a successful day,鈥� said branch operations manager, Paulette Jalbert. 鈥淩BC does a giving campaign year-round called 鈥� Employee Giving Campaign. Through this campaign, we are granted funds to give to worthy organizations and we choose the CV Food Bank. RBC Community Together Fund and RBC Dominion Securities presented a cheque to start the event off, for $1,500. However, throughout the day Dominion Securities also raised another $2,700, bringing the total of cash donations to $4,200 and 500 pounds of food.

鈥淲e thought this was an amazing accomplishment for our very first Fill the Truck Food Drive.鈥�
