In their ongoing support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, the Merville Grand Mothers are holding their 鈥楩abulous Fabric Sale鈥� from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Comox Valley Curling Club on Headquarters Road.
That鈥檚 right next door and concurrent with the Saturday Farmers鈥� Market. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
There will be loads of beautiful fabric to choose from, all donated by Comox Valley residents. Everything from exquisite quilting cotton to drapery and upholstery fabric with prices as low as $3 per metre will be on offer. You won鈥檛 want to miss this opportunity! To keep things simple, please bring cash and your own shopping bag. Please note that face masks are optional.
Proceeds from the fabric sale will support African grandmothers raising grandchildren orphaned by the AIDS epidemic.
