The first Comox Community Market held on Saturday, June 4 was a huge success.
The beautiful Comox Valley weather brought the general public to view the many talents our island residents have to offer.
With 22 vendors for our first market outside you could find Children鈥檚 handmade clothing, photography, jewellery, massages, wooden bowls, rock work and even a doggie rescue where you can adopt a loving pet or purchase homemade doggie treats and much more. Also many stores inside the mall to browse and shop.
Music was performed by Christina Nilsson which you can come to listen to her sing each week. Saturday June 11 Christina will be performing children鈥檚 songs to entertain the little ones with a face painter and balloons.
A fantastic lunch was made by Bobby鈥檚 Deli located in the Comox Mall. We look forward to the many delicious deli sandwiches, barbequed smokies, hot dogs and Bison burgers along with ice cream treats and beverages.
The Comox Community Market will be held every Saturday through to Aug 27. From 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Comox Mall lower parking lot.
