The event is an opportunity for children and parents to meet new families, teachers, ask questions, and gather information about Courtenay's Saltwater School. Anyone interested in learning more is encouraged to drop by for a visit this Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Puntledge Park on First Street in Courtenay.

Throughout the year, Saltwater School hosts a number of fun events for families and individuals in the Valley, including a Maypole celebration, Anthroposophy evenings, workshops, and playgroups.

Saltwater School is winding up its Parent and Tot, Preschool, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 programs for the year, and is renovating their new home located in the Tin Town section of Courtenay.

This fall the school will reopen in its new space, once again offering Parent and Tot, Mixed Age Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2.
