Join the Evergreen Club to 鈥楪et Up & Go鈥� on Thursday Sept. 14 for the Get Up & Go Challenge.
This event provides a fun and non-competitive way for mature adults to get active. The Evergreen Club is a social recreational club for adults 55+ but you don鈥檛 have to be a member to participate in this fun event. Participants are welcome to walk, jog, bike, scoot or wheel on a 1.5 km, 2.5 km or 4 km route. Participants can also take part in a scavenger hunt and enjoy refreshments and snacks after the walk. All routes begin and end at the Evergreen Club in the Florence Filberg Centre (lower level) and this event open to all community members.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. on Sept. 14. The entrance fee is $5 and all proceeds go to support the Evergreen Club鈥檚 programs. Groups are welcome too. Items for the Food Bank will gratefully be accepted at the event. For more information, email info@evergreeenclub.ca
