The Pearl Ellis Gallery is starting a new holiday themed pop-up running from Nov. 12 to 23. The event is called Giftables: A Holiday Pop-Up. It is a response to the community’s enthusiasm for locally made, affordable art and handcrafted gifts.
Giftables brings together the work of over 60 artists and makers, with an extensive range of original art and handcrafted pieces. All items are priced until $250, making Giftables a place to find one of a kind holiday gifts. Items including paintings, textiles, jewelry, ceramics, and woodworking, are priced between $5 and $50, making it easy to find something for everyone on your list.
Pearl Ellis Gallery will extend its hours on Nov. 15 and Nov. 22, staying open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to make shopping easier.
Pearl Ellis Gallery is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization, that invites the community to join them for this new event. Celebrate the holiday season while supporting local artists and craftspeople, and discover handcrafted gifts that everyone on your list will treasure.
The Pearl is located across from the Comox Mall, at 1729 Comox Ave. Admission is free.
