Celebrate Easter at the Comox Mall

Once again, the Comox Centre Mall has decorated its main concourse with giant Easter Eggs decorated by kids from several Comox schools.

Once again, the Comox Centre Mall has decorated its main concourse with giant Easter Eggs decorated by kids from several Comox schools.

Each school will receive a donation from the mall based on the number of eggs decorated, which they will then be able to donate to a charity of their choice. As always, the kids have done a great job and shown all kinds of creativity in their artwork, says mall manager Tiffany Iles.

The eggs will continue to decorate the mall until the end of the month, but this Saturday is likely to be one of the best days to come and see them and participate in celebrating Easter.

Kids, parents and grandparents alike will enjoy the voices of the Evergreen Choristers from 10 to 11 a.m., Joey Clarkson from 11 to noon and then the big draw for a giant Rogers chocolate bunny.

The 4H club will host a petting zoo and the Comox Valley Swim Club will help at the kids craft table, where they can decorate eggs, do some colouring and pick up a little Easter gift.

An Easter egg hunt starts at 11 around the mall and you just might get a chance to see the big bunny himself.
