“Overall, it was a great tune-up tournament for Comox as we got to have players try different positions, work on fitness and get into a game environment. This was also our first game under our new head coach Adam Mooi,” said Rob Caya, Comox Valley United’s men’s manager.
Mooi is also the Comox Valley United Soccer Club’s manager of soccer operations and technical lead
The team will open the season with three home games, first hosting Lakehill FC at Vanier on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. The full schedule is online at Vancouver Island Soccer League (visl.org).
