Dear editor,
I recently read that we are going to lose our only sani-dump for campers and RVs in the Comox Valley.
We welcome visitors to our Valley yet don’t provide these services. On a recent trip to the Interior, I used the sani-dump in Quesnel. It had potable water, two dump stations and an area to park for a short time and have a picnic. It is well maintained by the city and users. We need one for the Comox Valley.
A good location would be on Headquarters Road across from Vanier School. This location is away from homes, has water, sewer and a large area to drive through. I know trucks fill up to deliver water from there; I am sure we could accommodate everyone.
