The Comox Valley Yacht Club (CVYC) is holding its annual open house on Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Comox Valley Marina, near the Harbour Air office in Comox. The open house will be followed in the evening by a social get-together at the Comox Golf Club at 6 p.m. for any potential or new members.

In an effort to attract more people to the sport, Comox Valley Curling Club manager Keith Parry initiated a Friday Fun League, which started with 12 teams and grew to 36 teams, with a waitlist. He added a Sunday Fun League for the spillover.
