A structure fire ripped through a building in the early morning of Sept. 13 near Farnham and Carlson Roads in Merville. Despite initially taking down the blaze, the fire flared up again around 5:30 a.m..
Explosions could be heard in the area during the flare up. A house was left destroyed in the fire, with the remnants seen in a pile.
This is an isolated event with the fire not spreading to any additional buildings.
