Today (Sept. 19), the Comox Valley's Largest Shopping Spree winners, Valerie and Kelly Sims, took over nine stores to shop for a total of three minutes and 37 seconds per store. They had a total of $2024 to spend over their chosen stores.

The spree took place from 10 a.m. to noon with time for walking between local destinations and a van ride to further away stores.  

The lucky couple chose the anniversary of their first date as the day to complete their spree. 

Thank you to all the 14 establishments that offered up their stores for the spree: Ace Brewing, Ambassador Transportation, Bosley's, The Butcher's Block, Canadian Tire, Edible Island, Hot Chocolates, La-Z-Boy, The Mex, Ohspa, The Old Farm Market, Peninsula Coop, Searles Shoes, Uranus and Woofy's Paw Street Market. Another thanks to Ambassador Transportation for chauffeuring the winners around Courtenay and Comox.
