The town of Comox has announced its 4 annual Music in the Park summer concert event happening on Sunday Sept. 1 at Comox Marina Park from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. The free, all-ages event will take place at the lower gazebo.

Performers include The Blackwood Two, a folk duo based out of Victoria at 1:00 p.m.. Next is Jemma Hicken and the Good Thing from Cortes Island. Bu VonBlume from Cumberland play third, bringing their mix of funk, punk, disco, ska and reggae to the stage. Finally, headliner Leroy Stagger will perform music that spans a 17 year career at 4:00 p.m..
