Food critics and unsung chefs are invited to participate in a chili cook off this month.

The Weird Church is hosting its third annual chili cook off fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 18. The public is invited to Cumberland to cook, or taste and vote.

Tickets to taste and vote are $15. Proceeds will go towards Weird Church and Cumberland Community Society.

A cash prize of $500 is designated for the best chili cook. Second and third place will also receive cash winnings. Anyone interested in registering as a cook can email adventuredaycare2677@gmail.com.

The event at 2688 Penrith Ave starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Awards will be announced at 4:30 p.m. The chili cook off is put together in partnership with Adventure Daycare.
