Courtenay鈥檚 weekly summer festival, Summer Pulse on the Plaza will feature music, art making and exhibitions from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m..

This free, all-ages event, will take place on the Comox Valley Art Gallery plaza at the corner of Sixth Street and Duncan Avenue.

Music will be provided by DJ ReSister, Jozy and the Comox Valley Pop-Up Choir. This event is a lead up to Saturday鈥檚 Pride parade. As well as the music, there will be on-demand screen printing led by Andy MacDougall, all-ages make art stations provided by Comox Valley Art Gallery (CVAG) staff and local artists.

There will also be food and drinks while CVAG鈥檚 exhibition 鈥淒iane Landry: matter in TIme鈥� will be staying open late.

Queer Culture, Pride Comox Valley, and Lush Valley are all collaborators in Friday鈥檚 event.
