Glacier View Lodge is setting its sights on fundraising with the Walk for Glacier View on Sept. 22. The two-kilometre walk will showcase the lodge鈥檚 surroundings and welcome people of all abilities.
Lodge residents can do a micro walk at the lodge while others can choose to walk the grounds or take part in a remote walk using the Race Roster program which offers several walking options.
"Our focus is on supporting seniors' care and housing. By participating in this event, community sponsors, teams, and individuals can help shape a future where our aging population is cared for with dignity and respect," said James Taylor, chair of the board.
