Area of note for the upcoming culvert work.

The City of Courtenay will be replacing the culvert in Puntledge Park with a new concrete bridge. This comes under the guidance of a biologist and with the co-operation of the Morrison Creek Streamkeepers.

The construction is on the trail section between the Robert Lang Drive access and First Street and includes the arched bridge. The area will be closed from Monday Aug. 12 to Thursday Aug. 15.

Crew and equipment will access the site off of the Robert Lang Drive at Willemar Avenue. The city asks that you watch for direction from workers and stay out of the work zone.
