Sarah Hagen will be putting on a piano recital at Comox United Church on Sept. 10 at 10:30 a.m. The concert, 鈥淭o a Wild Rose,鈥� is inspired by gardens and celebrates the final days of summer.
One of the features of the concert will be Mendelssohn's Fantasia on "The Last Rose of Summer". Other songs on the program for the day will be works by MacDowell, Suk, and others, all with the theme of summer.
Hagan performs across Canada and internationally including performances this summer at Cambridge Folk Festival and ArtDog Gallery in London.
