BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) are advising customers of changes to the transit system, effective March 9, 2025.

A new transit schedule has been developed to ensure service reliability is maintained with minimal disruptions during the current phase of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

The service changes will be as follows:

Minor scheduling changes on Route 1 Comox Mall/Anfield Centre and select weekday morning trips on Route 2 Cumberland/Anfield Centre.

Route 3 Comox Local will see a detour via Downey-Rodello-Cooke-Anderton, along with minor trip time adjustments. No inbound service will be available on Beaufort Ave.

Route 4 Driftwood Mall/Comox Mall buses heading eastbound will be on detour via Ryan Road and Lerwick Road and will not stop between the 17th Street Bridge and Comox Avenue at Anderton Road.

Route 15 Comox Mall via Back Rd/Aquatic Centre via Back Road will detour via Strathcona-Davis-Robb-Anderton to avoid project impacts on Comox Avenue.

The Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project is a multi-year construction project. The Comox Valley Regional District and BC Transit are implementing a phased service plan to adjust to the impacts of this project through the stages of its development.
