Comox Valley sailors Anna Reimer and Vera Nodwell brought home silver medals from the recently held BC Circuit regatta in Vancouver BC, on April 21.

The duo sailed a two-person boat called a Club 420, one of the largest and most popular classes in the country.

Reimer and Nodwell battled against variable wind conditions and stiff competition. Despite the challenges, the team clinched second place on the podium.

Comox Bay Sailing Association was also well represented with Erik Leikermoser and Jack Nodwell both sailing in the ultra-competitive Laser Radial class. The two finished their weekend by sailing in a 35-knot squall.

Sailors James Douglas, Neil Fast, Henry MacLean, Miles Mayrhofer and Callum Douglas gained valuable experience in the Optimist Fleet category.

Callum Douglas who will represent Canada later this summer had three top-five finishes in his 46-boat fleet.
