Comox Valley McDonald’s donates to Foundry Comox Valley

A total of $10,000 was raised and donated

Comox Valley McDonald’s restaurants made a donation of $10, 000 to Foundry Comox Valley. The money was raised during McHappy Day at McDonald’s in both Courtenay and Comox. Almost 50 volunteers, including staff from Foundry, helped on McHappy Day. 

The John Howard Society of North Island operates Foundry Comox Valley and works with several community partners to serve young people aged 12-24 and their families. The centre offers services free of charge. Such services include mental health and substance abuse counselling, primary care, sexual health care, peer support and social services.
