Comox Valley Hospice is sending a thank you out to over 900 people who took part in the Pancake Breakfast fundraiser during Comox Nautical Days this past weekend. The breakfast raised over $8300 to help support compassionate palliative and grief care within the Comox Valley.
The three day event proved the dedication of the volunteers who flipped, poured and wiped while chatting with supporters. The event was made more enjoyable by being near the main stage and listening to the early morning performance of Anela Kahiamoe.
The Comox Valley Hospice Society relies on donors and the proceeds from our fundraisers to offer counselling and programs free to residents of the Comox Valley who are impacted by the loss of a loved one.
