The Comox Legion’s annual Thanksgiving meat draw returns Oct. 4 and 5. There will be prizes of turkeys, hams and beef all provided by Quality Foods. There will be 10 prizes in total and a 50/50 draw.

All profits from the draw will go back to the local community.

Last year, the Legion gave over $30,000 to various organizations within the Valley. The weekly gift card and meat draw is an important part in the fundraising efforts.

The draw will start at 2:30 p.m. and go until 4:30 p.m. on both Oct. 4 and Oct. 5.

The draws will be held in the Beaufort Avenue Pub in Comox which is owned and operated by the COmox Legion 160.

The draw is open to the public with no cover charge.
