Art in the Vines will be held on Friday, Sept. 13 at the 40 Knots Winery to raise funds for the Comox Valley Transition Society (CVTS).
Patrons will be treated to a diverse range of artists ranging from glass blowers, painters, jewellers, and potters setting up pop-up shops on the vineyard. Each artist will donate 20 per cent of their sales to CVTS.
“We’re very excited about this fundraising event,” says Heather Ney, CVTS executive director. “We love the hyper-local nature of the event that features the talented makers, artists and entertainers of our Valley.“
Those attending the event will also enjoy the unique experience of learning about and tasting four locally produced wines and spirits during the Makers Panel highlighting the creations of 40 Knots Winery, Wayward Distillery, Raven's Moon Craft Cidery and Rad Brewery.
Attendees will also have the chance to enjoy a locally catered gala dinner by As You Like It Catering and a paired dessert by OMG Macron and Royston Roasters.
The Art in the Vines silent auction will be online for the community to bid starting Aug. 15 to Sept. 13. Tickets for the event are $125 per person and $1,000 for the harvest table of 8 guests. All proceeds will go to support the Comox Valley Transition Society.
