Big Little Lions are the award winning band of Paul Otten from Cincinnati, OH and Helen Austin, B.C., born out of a collaboration that won them a Juno Award in 2014.
Ever since, they have been cranking out infectious folk pop songs that are jam-packed with emotion along with tight harmonies that sound like the product of two people working closely and side-by-side instead of living in different countries.
Getting lots of CBC airplay including CBC Radio q and with a few Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations and a win for Ensemble of the Year under their belt, they will be in the Comox Valley for one night on July 26th at Studio Live, on Beaufort Ave in Cumberland.
Tickets are $20 in advance and are available at Bop City Records, Courtenay, Church Street Bakery, Comox and Rider’s Pizza, Cumberland or the door: $25. Doors are at 7:30 p.m. and show is at 8 p.m.
