What a wonderful community we live in!
Recently while hiking in Paradise Meadows with visiting family members, I had an episode of dizziness to the point that I could not continue the hike. To the rescue came Park Ranger Jessie who showed up with a wheelchair and helped my brother in law push me back to the parking lot. And it was uphill all the way.
While my brother in law went to get the car from the parking area, Bruce, another Park Ranger, stayed with my sister and I until the car arrived. I cannot thank them enough.
Jessie and Bruce are a credit to the Park Ranger service and I think they both deserve recognition.
