Dear editor,
The Bus Transportation System is failing once again leaving people waiting for their bus in vain. Some people are taking bus to work, others to the doctor, the dentist or a bank.
Many passengers are seniors, some are with walkers or in a wheelchair. There are also mothers with small children, and people going shopping for food. Most bus passengers cannot afford to pay for a Taxi to take them across the town.
This is not the first time such breakdown in bus service has happened. There was similar situation last fall. The bus service eventually stopped all together over Christmas due to the bus drivers' strike. One would hope the issue had been successfully resolved.
Are the bus drivers on a strike again? Can this issue be solved with solid and lasting results?
