The , now celebrating its 40th year, is a beloved annual event that takes place in the picturesque Filberg Park in Comox, British Columbia. Set against the stunning backdrop of Vancouver Island, the festival has become a cherished tradition, drawing visitors from near and far to enjoy a vibrant celebration of arts, crafts, and music.

This year, from Aug. 2 to 4, the festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering a delightful blend of creative expression and community spirit.

Founded in 1983, the Filberg Festival was established to support the preservation of the historic Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest and most respected arts festivals in Western Canada.

The festival showcases the talents of over from across the country, providing a platform for them to exhibit and sell their unique creations. Attendees can browse an array of handcrafted jewellery, pottery, textiles, woodwork, and more, all while meeting the artists behind the works.

Other notable performers include Ashleigh Ball of Hey Ocean!, Peter Luongo, Lost Octave, Rare-Earth Magnet, TK the Artist, Son de Metal, Quarantones Male Chorus, and Ukulele Workshops. With such a diverse range of genres, there’s something to delight every musical taste.
