Get your groove on to Time Well Wasted on Sunday, July 9 at 7 p.m. as part of the free Simms Concert Series.

Time Well Wasted is a 12-piece, horn-driven funk, soul, rock, rhythm & blues band from the Comox Valley. They are a high-energy dance and party band, playing the very best hits… with attitude!

The band includes two powerhouse female vocalists, five horns, and a locomotive rhythm section performing all the dance-crazy radio hits you love, including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Tori Kelly, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars, Doobie Brothers, Adele, The Bee Gees, Toto, Powder Blues, Chicago, Steely Dan, Santana, Aretha Franklin and many more.

Simms Millennium Park is located by the 5th Street Bridge and across from Lewis Park. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

Other featured Simms Park performances on Sundays at 7 p.m. include Mary Murphy & Celtic Cargo Cult on July 23, Rock or Bust (AC/DC tribute) on July 30, The Sharp 7’s on Aug. 20 and Jeff Plankenhorn on Aug. 27. A Food Bank Drive will also be included as part of the Aug. 27 concert.
