Standouts from Rifflandia Festival’s first-night lineup on Sept. 13 include Canadian DJ REZZ, Ja Rule and Tokyo Police Club, who are doing their farewell tour this year.

The festival announced Thursday (April 18) the first of three daily lineups for their 2024 event taking place at their new site on the Matullia Lands at Rock Bay, Sept. 13 - 15, 2024.

Canadian DJ REZZ is headlining, coming in after a strong last few years with the launch of her new label HypnoVizion in 2022 and having just released her critically acclaimed album Can You See Me? on March 4 of this year. REZZ and her label have also released two strong 2024 collabs: Black Ice with Subtronics and Dysphoria with Holly.

Rifflandia’s first night might be the last chance for Victoria fans to see Tokyo Police Club live as they announced in January that this year will be their farewell tour culminating with four shows in Toronto, the last one on November 29. The Born Ruffians, another formed-early-2000’s big-name rock band is also on the lineup.

Artists closer to home include The Choirs YYJ and Garret T. Willie, a young blues artist who describes himself as an old soul, hailing from Kingcome Inlet, off the coast of British Columbia. Willie is early into his career but it’s taking off fast, with a flurry of shows and public accolades over the last year.

Rapper Ja Rule is the second biggest name on the list, which includes Channel Tres, C&C Music Factory, Slayyyter, Nostalgix, SkiiTour, NOODLES, Mia Kelly, Club Loading & Co., Poncho, Comedy and more.

Tier 1 Super Pass pricing and the limited Friend Pack will only be available until Thursday, April 18 at 11:59 p.m. Tier 2 pricing begins Friday, April 19 at 12:00 a.m.

Pricing and additional information is available at rifflandia.com.
