Music of the War Years at the Filberg Centre in Courtenay

The Evergreen Club presents Music of the War Years, a revue of songs popular to our soldiers, sailors, and flyers from the First World War to Afghanistan.

This special event, put on by the Evergreen (seniors) Club, honours our military and reflects on the past with both poignant and lighthearted songs and music.

The show runs from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Florence Filberg Centre ( 411 Anderton Ave., Courtenay, in the Conference Hall). Tickets are available at the Filberg Centre office (weekdays) or at the door and are $10. Veterans and youth 16 and under free. Complimentary coffee, tea and cookies.
