Josh Hansen has an art show June 11 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Serious coffee in Courtenay.
The 21-year-old says works and lives in the Valley, but he spends all his weekends and the majority of his time surfing and painting, his deep passions.
In the past couple of years, he has donated pieces to Rotary auctions and various events to raise money for important causes.
