The Elevate Winter Bazaar returns to Downtown Courtenay this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 6 and 7) at the Courtenay Legion. This bazaar of unusual, unexpected and otherworldly crafts is the perfect place to pick up locally made, handcrafted and up-cycled art, crafts, calendars, succulents, patches, purses, pottery, prints, jewelry, body care, curiosities, clothing and more.
On Friday, from 5-9 p.m. stop in for a “Night Club before Christmas” shopping event with live DJs, tasty snacks and a bar to accompany your shopping adventures. Then on Saturday, the Bazaar is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop in before or after your visit to the Comox Valley Farmers’ Market (10-1 right across the street) and be sure to take a wander through the eclectic shops of the Downtown Courtenay as part of your day.
Whichever day you come, plan to pull up a chair and stay awhile to get funky with your own crafty creations at the Elevate collage card-making table.
The Elevate Winter Bazaar presented by Elevate and proceeds support barrier-free, street level, DIY, pop up cultural events throughout the year. Admission is by donation.
