It鈥檚 all about 鈥渢radition鈥� at the Filberg Centre Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. when the Evergreen Club once again presents the Comox Valley Concert Band in a musical afternoon of traditional favourites.
Music builds and sustains community and at this time of year the Comox Valley is rich with vocal and instrumental concerts. By supporting live music, listeners are continuing the traditions that have shaped our nation and our community.

Well-tempered tunes engage and entertain our basic instincts and remind us that we are one people united by simple rhythms and melodies.

As Tevye from Fiddler on the Roof says, 鈥淗ow do we keep our balance in a topsy turvy world鈥n one word- Tradition!鈥� and yes, this time-worn musical makes an appearance in Sunday鈥檚 concert as well.
