The MIKI’SIW Métis Association, Comox Valley Arts Council, and CVOX Community Radio Station podcast, Ancestral Echoes, is celebrating the finish of their first season on air.

Join the participants of the intergenerational storytelling project that featured Métis Elders and Youth from the Comox Valley and aired on CVOX.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable participants of Ancestral Echoes Season 1, whose openness and enthusiastic engagement have made this podcast a tremendous success.” said Jemima Thomas of Comox Valley Arts. “This celebration offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with these inspiring individuals, congratulate them, and discuss the impact Ancestral Echoes has had on their lives since participating. We are also thrilled to collaborate once again with our partners, MIKI’SIW and CVOX, to bring this exciting event to life.”

The event is free and open to all who want to watch the documentary on the making of the podcast, honour the participants and join a live Q&A to learn of the participants' journeys.

Bannock and refreshments will be served afterwards.

The celebration is on Oct. 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Stan Hagen Theatre.
