Spring has sprung and once again the beautiful Filberg Lodge is hosting the Brushworks Artists Group Show and Sale.
The show will run from May 22 to May 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. So come on out and view some superb artwork and take a stroll through the lovely spring sunshine in the park.
The show will feature works from 24 different artists who are all local to the Valley. Some are very well known, including Ruth Dixon, Roberta Zander and Peter Moore. As well there are a number of up-and-coming new artists to see.
The artists say they have all been hard at work honing our skills and anxious to show off we have done in the last year. There will be a wide variety of styles and mediums to choose from.
"We are a dedicated group of artists who get together every Wednesday to work at the Lions Den in Comox from September through June," they say in a news release. "We feature an encouraging atmosphere offering support and advice to each other as we work to translate our ideas to canvas or paper.
There are 28 artists in the group and just about every style and medium is represented.
