With the promise of spring nearly upon us, Celebration Singers Community Choirs present their concert 鈥淎wakened by Song鈥� on April 11 at 7 p.m. and April 12 at 2 p.m. Both concerts will be held at St. George's United Church on Sixth and Fitzgerald in Courtenay.

The three choirs that make up the Celebration Singers family are preparing a program to awaken body and soul with songs of love and laughter, lure and labour. Men of Notes, led by Carol Anne Parkinson are alive with humour, nostalgia and love. Stephanie Eakle leads the treble choir Grace Notes in a program designed to inspire, to bring renewed vigour into this season of new growth. And Celebration Singers, under the direction of Denise Marquette, sing of praise, peace and hope. This full concert will conclude with over 100 voices joining to celebrate love.
