Enjoy some glitter and glam March 16 as the Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society hosts a Rainbow Royalty Fundraiser at the Sid Williams Theatre.

The event will raise funds for Dawn to Dawn’s Gukwas sa Wagalus - Rainbow House, a new and innovative project to house Indigenous and non-Indigenous 2SLGBTQQIA+ youth ages 16 to 26.

The unique housing project is a collaboration between K’ómoks First Nation, the Elders and hereditary chiefs of the Puntledge, E’iksen and K’omoks peoples, Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society and Comox Valley Pride. When it begins operating, Gukwas sa Wagalus - Rainbow House will be a unique facility in the Comox Valley and within B.C.

Dawn to Dawn has engaged in meaningful conversations to create a culturally safe space led by Indigenous principles as defined by knowledge keepers and in discussion with Pride Comox Valley.

The project is currently undergoing renovation and the funds raised at this event will help pay for the next step in bringing this one-of-a-kind project to fruition.

Tickets are available at the box office and online at . There is a matinee show at 2 pm and an evening show of ‘adult’ content at 8pm.
