Comox Valley non-profits have until Sept. 26 to apply for a total $350,000 in community funding grants from the Comox Valley Community Foundation.

There are two grant streams available: the Community Enrichment Grant stream and the Housing and Homelessness Supports grant program. The Community Enrichment stream has $300,000 available for mental health and connection, food insecurity and food systems, and equity, diversity and inclusion. The Housing and Homelessness Support program offers $50,000 towards non-profits working to support housing insecurity, housing affordability and homelessness supports.

The Housing and Homelessness stream will be disbursed in partnership with the Comox Valley Coalition to End Homelessness.

The Comox Valley Community Foundation has granted more than $5.75 million to over 175 local non-profits and 250 students in the form of grants and scholarships over the past 25 years.
