For its February meeting, the North Island Rhodo Society will feature Judy Walker, a founding member of the organization, whose topic is Making the Connection.

Walker will explore Tuesday how major collectors and propagators in Europe connected with small nurserymen here on Vancouver Island.

Two of these are Ted and Mary Greig with the Royston Nursery who have contributed up to 10 per cent of all rhodos sold in North America. Walker has a book out on the life of the Greigs.

The meeting will be at the United Church hall in Comox. Doors will open at 7 p.m. Members of the public are welcome.
