Hundreds of community members gathered in Courtenay Saturday morning (Jan. 20) to 鈥渞ise against gendered violence as part of a global movement recognizing women鈥檚 rights as human rights.鈥�

The group 鈥� women, joined by men and children - met at the Courtenay courthouse and marched through the downtown core.

Record editor Terry Farrell was on hand to photograph and take video of the rally and march.
